WELCOME TO UPDATE 29.1

Here's what awaits you:

  • A new PvP mode where you will be able to experiment with unit compositions and game tactics, showing everything your deck is capable of!
  • Bonus Orbs. Leveling up event units gives personal bonus orbs to other Legendary units. Upgrading your collection has just become cheaper!
  • Balance changes to units: Treant, Bard, Phoenix, Genie, Demon Hunter, Inquisitor, Stasis, Portal Mage
  • Blazing Burn have been nerfed: his ability will be used less frequently now.

NEW PVP MODE

Be sure to test yourself – and your deck – in this peculiar new game mode. How is it different from regular PvP? Read on:

  • Before the bosses arrive at the end of each wave, a Phantom monster appears on each player's side of the field!
  • All the damage dealt to the Phantom is converted into health of the boss appearing for the enemy. The more damage you deal, the harder it will be for your opponent to defeat the boss
  • Each wave, the player who is the first to kill all bosses gains a bonus to all mana received until the end of the game.
  • Compared to the regular PvP mode, the bosses are weakened, and the intervals between uses of their abilities are increased
  • No Death Waves here
  • Monsters gain increased armor with each wave
  • The damage percentage transferred into the health of bosses will increase with each passing wave

Don’t be afraid to try starkly different decks and heroes, since you will be receiving the increased amount of trophies when winning, but you will be protected against losing them should you fail to win. The unusual decisions you take will make the battles supremely exciting, allowing you to look at the familiar PvP through a different eye!

*This mode will be launched in parallel with regular PvP. While it is active, you will be able to keep playing it, but you will still have the capability to switch to regular mode, too.

BONUS ORBS

Upgrading your unit collection is now cheaper due to the bonus Magic Orbs being introduced!

Bonus orbs replace the Magic Orbs required for leveling up Legendary units. To receive them, level up the event Legendary units by using Magic Orbs and gold / Gold Coin. However many regular Magic Orbs you have spent, you will receive as many bonus Magic Orbs.

Bonus orbs are distributed randomly between the units of the same faction that the event unit you have upgraded belongs to. They will be accumulating on units until there is enough of these Orbs to upgrade the units from their current level to level 15. Bonus orbs will be accumulating even on units that you do not have in your collection yet – with the future in mind.

If you do not have enough bonus Magic Orbs to level up a unit, the remaining amount may be compensated for with regular Magic Orbs. Bonus orbs are always the first to be spent.

Bonus Magic Orbs do not work for Reincarnating units.

Event Legendary units do not gain bonus Magic Orbs.

*With the update’s release, you will receive a one-time grant of bonus Magic Orbs for all current event units that have been leveled up previously through any means, including by using Star Coins.

BALANCE CHANGES

Stasis (nerfed)

  • Trap triggering interval at unit level 7 is now longer: 5s → 6.1s
  • Decrease of trap triggering interval per level is now smaller: -0.2s → -0,15s

Bug fixed:Now, monsters during the Death Wave periodically ignore the Stasis’ traps, just as they ignore the Captain’s barrel and other traps intended to stop monsters, as well as other control effects

Portal Mage (nerfed)

  • Teleports mini bosses to the start of the path only once

Phoenix (nerfed)

  • Base damage at unit level 7 is now lower: 575 → 460
  • Flame Particle limit before the bonus is now smaller: 600 → 400
  • Bonus per particle has been reduced: 2% → 1.75%
  • Bonus per particle over 400 has been increased: 0.5% → 0.75%

Dance of Ashes talent

  • Number of Flame Particles granted for immolation reduced: 5 → 4

New Life talent

  • Chance of a Phoenix appearing after immolation is now smaller: 60% → 40%

Genie (altered)

  • Unit damage at level 7 has been reduced: 500 → 375
  • Vortex damage at unit level 7 has been reduced: 357 → 267
  • Damage bonus per charge has been increased: 1.5% → 2%

Bard (buffed)

  • Damage increase per unit level is now higher: 13.3% → 18.16%
  • Damage bonus per Inspiration charge has been reduced: 1.5% → 1%
  • Damage bonus after 300 Inspiration charges has been increased: 0.3% → 0.35%

Treant (buffed)

Arboreal Guard talent

  • Damage bonus per charge has been increased: 4% → 5%
  • Damage bonus over 30 charges has been increased: 2% → 2.5%

Mycelium Masters talent

  • Damage bonus per Leaf Charge has been increased: 0.8% → 1%
  • Damage bonus over 70 Leaf Charges has been increased: 0.4% → 0.5%

Demon Hunter (buffed)

Absorption of Evil talent

  • Bonus over 90 Marks has been increased: 0.5% → 1%

Twilight Hunting talent

  • Interval between Hunters' rank reduction is now shorter: 15s → 10s
  • Bonus over 60 Marks increased: 0.5% → 1%

Inquisitor (buffed)

Knight of Darkness talent

  • Bonus over 20 Absorption charges has been increased: 2.5% → 3%

Ronin talent

  • Damage limit has been increased: 800% → 900%

Unity talent

  • Damage bonus has been increased: 15% → 20%
  • Crit chance has been increased: 8% → 10%

MINI BOSS

Blazing Burn (nerfed)

Interval and delay of the fire spit have been increased from 5 to 7 seconds. The number of Blazing Burns during waves 8-9 has been reduced to 1.
