WELCOME TO UPDATE 28.1!

FESTIVAL OF TALENTS

The Festival of Talents is back! This time you will have to go to the abandoned mines, and they are full of danger – the Mad Mole is prowling in deep tunnels, while the formidable Golem causes destructive cave-ins! But the new star of the Festival of Talents, a seasoned miner and just a great guy – the Kobold – will help you in dealing with them. Complete special quests, gather collectible cards, exchange them for event pass points, and this unit will be yours!

LEGENDARY UNIT: KOBOLD

Kobolds are small but fearless creatures, renowned for their hard-working nature and perseverance. Day after day, night after night, they descend into the dark mines to look for precious ore. Once, somewhere in the deepest reaches, they found some very special ore... that would grant new abilities to all the inhabitants of Rhandum!

The Kobold is a support unit that joins the Technogenic Society faction!

Primary mechanic: Kobolds delve into mines to look for ore. Each unit of ore increases the damage dealt by all units on your field.

Kobold’s Talents:

  • Level 9 Talents increase the effectiveness of ore mining in two different ways: one allows receiving more of the resource from Rich Mines, and the other allows the Kobold to accumulate energy and venture into two mines at a time on your orders
  • Level 11 Talents gives the Kobold the ability to summon additional miners to help, or to increase the merge rank of a Kobold with the lowest rank
  • With Level 13 Talents, the Kobold starts throwing mining picks at enemies, thus increasing the damage done to them, or makes other units inflict extra damage – just by being on the field
  • The talent of Level 15 makes the Kobold capable of granting increased critical damage chance to all units on the field by harvesting Ore from a Diamond Mine!

CLAN WAR

The Clan War replaces the Clan Tournament from before. During the event, complete the clan quests, earn as many glory points as possible, get to the treasure key and rise higher than the rest in your clan's hot air balloon!

With the event updated, the following changes have been made:

  • The event is held every other week after the season’s start
  • The Clan War has been moved to the Events section
  • Clan requirements for participating in the event have been eased – it is now enough to have 10 players in your clan
  • Daily Battles and Plunder have been replaced with Clan Quests that are updated daily
  • Glory points received for clan quests scale depending on the amount of Trophies you have
  • Clans that have reached the key and made their balloon rise into the air will receive rewards
  • The winner of the Clan War is determined after the event’s end by tallying results from all the days, depending on the amount of Glory Points accrued
  • Clan Divisions are renamed to Groups
  • A clan’s group influences the amount of Clan Coins received for completing quests and taking prize-winning places
  • For some time, spells and defenders will be less relevant, but they will definitely find uses in the subsequent versions

These changes will make the event as comfortable and accessible for everyone as possible. Only your activity will be the key to victory!

DRAGON RIFT

Who’s there? Vikings! These crafty guys will be ready to help you with conquering the Dragon Rift, but only if you pay well and are powerful enough to hire them!

Players with critical damage that exceeds the Rift requirements will get the opportunity to launch a raid by paying with crystals.

The Vikings will be able to clear the entire floor up to the Dragon, collecting artifacts and some gold along the way. Keep in mind that these warriors are not the most meticulous, and if you use speedrunning, you will receive less gold than if you went through all the areas yourself.

In this Update, you will only be able to speedrun Floors 1 and 2 in this fashion. On Floor 3, you will have to manage all by yourself.

Besides, now you will also be able to buy several additional Magic Wings if you need them!
