WELCOME TO UPDATE 27.0!

SINISTER PARTY

Weird things are happening all around the Isle... The Enchanted Forest is roused into motion again! The Capital is shrouded in darkness, and unusual creatures have filled the streets. But the Isle’s denizens are not easily scared! All because these events are foreshadowing the merriest and the most mysterious party of the year!

“The carnival of fear and horror is waiting for you! Join in the fun! Feed the pumpkin by using tiles of candy on your field, and gain advantage in battle – but beware the new boss, Jack-O-Lantern, who is eager to get his sweets back! Be careful: Jack is back with new skills and abilities.

Spin the Dark Carousel, gather collections, exchange them for Sinister Pass points – and you will receive the new legendary unit, the Gunslinger, as well as many other rewards!”

GUNSLINGER – THE SCOURGE OF BANDITS AND THUGS

The western part of the Isle of Rhandum is called the Wild West, and for good reason: law and order are a distant dream for it. All manner of gangs used to be running rampant in this territory. The Council was trying to solve the problem, announcing bounties for the gangleaders – but these efforts were, more often than not, futile. Only one mercenary was able to succeed, besting even the most dangerous cutthroats in battle. This ruthless headhunter was renowned for his marksmanship skills – tavern patrons were saying that he was able to hit a flying mosquito from ten meters away. No one knew his name, so everyone was calling him just... The Gunslinger.

The Gunslinger is a support unit that is able to swap places with other units, perform Ghost Shots at the enemies when the Mana Power-up is activated, as well as to go into the Shootout mode, which causes the Gunslinger to perform Ghost Shots automatically, albeit doing reduced damage.

The Gunslinger’s Talents:

  • With Talents of level 9, you will be able to choose whether to keep playing the Gunslinger as a support unit, or turn him into a unit dealing primary damage!
  • With level 11 Talents, the Gunslinger will be able to cleanse himself of negative effects, or receive additional mana from defeated monsters.
  • Talents of level 13 allow the Gunslinger to inspire units around him after moving, increasing their attack speed, or bind his enemies with an invisible lasso, distributing the damage dealt between them.
  • The talent of level 15 increases the damage the Gunslingers deal while in the Shootout mode and reduces the movement cooldown. Also, enemies afflicted with Ghost Shot will have an increased chance of taking critical damage.

HERO EXPEDITIONS

A new game mode that allows you to explore the Rhandum Rifts! Every day, your Heroes will be able to go on an Expedition of one of three types to bring back Hero Fragments upon their return! The number of Expedition portals depends on your Division, and this means up to 5 simultaneous Expeditions per day! All you need to do is select the participants of the expedition and just log into the game for a reward after the time specified on the portal. Hero participants are not blocked in any way for all other game modes. You will be able to send them on Expeditions and continue playing decks with them at the same time.

As mentioned above, there are 3 types of Expeditions: Regular, Great and Legendary. You will be able to direct teams to all available portals at the same time, sending 1 Hero to each. In addition, your units of appropriates level will also be able to participate in Expeditions to get additional rewards: random item fragments, essences, common or rare equipment items. Like Heroes, units are not blocked from all other game modes.

The most experienced (and lucky) explorers will be able to get other cool rewards:

  • Legendary Hero Fragments
  • Heroic Tokens
  • Epic and Rare Equipment Items
  • Unique animated avatar
  • Unique animated emoji
  • You can increase your luck stat by using the Seeker Compass.

The Expedition Portals are guarded by mysterious Mercenaries who supply their shop with Hero Fragments of any rarity every day. Be sure to visit them often! They will always have something to offer you...

HERO UPDATES

Heroes are the integral part of any deck. But many players find it hard to collect their fragments, especially as the rarity factor goes up: there is no feeling of progression, upgrading your heroes, or that unmistakable expectation of the approaching new level. Too much effort is needed to really experience the power of the Heroes. It’s time to change this!

Every hero has gained the development tree. By leveling up your heroes, you receive points you can invest in the abilities you need! Many passive abilities are now available earlier (at levels 10, 30, 60 or 80).

The maximum Hero level has been increased from 20 to 80! But the current levels for every Hero you have now have been multiplied by 4!

*For instance, if you had the Captain of level 10, his level will be equal to 40 after the update. The exception is level 1 heroes, who remain at the same level.

The requirement of the total number of fragments needed for the final level is not changed for common and legendary Heroes. For rare and epic Heroes, the number of fragments required will be twice the previous value, while all the rewards that contain these fragments will also increase twofold. We have also doubled all the fragments of rare and epic Heroes that are in your possession!

Also note! Expeditions are a newly added way of passively – but constantly – obtaining hero fragments, including the possibility of collecting Legendary Heroes for gold!

Your account’s critical damage value now grows with every 4th Hero level.

Other changes:

  • Balance changes and bug fixes have been made for certain heroes: Jay, Bestie, Captain and Gadget
  • The Elementalist was reworked due to his low popularity: now, the hero is aimed at actively working with merge mechanics in the field’s tiles!
  • Flicker Hero can now be received among epic hero fragments, and from the Expedition’s Mercenary shop
  • Rare and Epic Tokens are removed from the game. All the Rare and Epic tokens are replaced by Hero fragments of matching rarity. They will be sent to you in messages via the in-game mail

UPDATES TO DIVISIONS AND SEASONAL REWARDS

By increasing your Division, you will improve your rewards for progressing in a season. In the new version, this function is maintained and expanded:

  • The bonus for the first victory of the day can now be received 3 times. The size of the bonus now improves with every division increase
  • Starting with Division 3, a new bonus is added that gives bonus cups for victories in PvP. The higher the Division, the more cups you get, and the faster your progression in the the season is! From Division 2 onward, you will gain access to new profile frames
  • All the Legend medals received for victories in Division 7 will now be separately displayed in the UI
  • We have worked on displaying the conditions and advantages of Divisions, Arenas and Leagues. In Arenas and Leagues, the recommended values of Critical Damage will appear
  • In the Contender League, the game rules are altered. After passing the threshold of 7000 Trophies, you will be clearly shown what awaits you. Battles at this ranking are a test of strength for which players must be ready. Those who can climb even higher in rankings will be able to celebrate their triumphs with unique frames, animated avatars and emoji
  • We have improved the displaying of Crowns for those who break into the top 100 of the ranking, so that the image matches your well-deserved glory

Make your decks better, upgrade your Critical Damage to move to higher Divisions, and fight for the new and improved rewards!

MODIFIERS IN THE REGULAR EVENT

Bread and circuses! The Royal Trials have changed, and they will not leave you bored! The primary mechanic of the event – Unit Energy – now becomes but one of the many modifiers.

  • The units available to you now depend on the modifier that has been rolled for you. Some of the modifiers only affect units, others set the overall rules of building decks, while yet others may change the battle rules altogether!
  • Every other aspect of the events (the progression, the rewards, the goods available in the shop) are not changed by the modifiers
  • You will be offered the decks recommended for each of the separate modifiers, while the changes that you make will remain in effect until the modifier expires

Experiment, adapt, and victory will be yours!

OTHER CHANGES

Improvements to the Legendary Summoning

  • Now you cannot Summon a unit that you do not have in your collection
  • Summoning a unit requires 45 Bells at any stage
  • The function of receiving Bells for ads is now available every day, and gives 1 Bell (instead of 2 every 2 days)
  • You can now learn more about the Bells, and the ability of receiving an additional free Bell every day by consulting the site
